Tough couple of days

I have been having a/c problems this year. The wires to the compressor were getting old and brittle and I ended up replacing them. Then, the system wasn't cooling well enough and would run too long. I have a $376 electric bill to prove that. I know an hvac company and the owner has been feeding me...

My 10 year old female Golden Retriever didn't look too well the whole week so I made an appt to the vet this past Friday. She wasn't eating her normal dry food and I even tempted her with wet food (only thing she would eat was a marrow bone) but this past Thursday she started throwing up constantly...

I'm just curious because since I switched Gingerbread to a food without chicken (CA Natural Lamb and Rice), he's been itching a lot less. I think it's a good food, but it doesn't have any probiotics, I think those are important for good health. I also want him to have kelp and yucca ...

Hi, Just got a call from the vet's office informing me according to a fecal sample, that Mookie has toxidia. Have tried to do an online search bit didn't come up with much info. Vet assistant said that since he goes to the dog park, that they'd treat it this time, but probably not in the...

Flank-sucking ?
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
I have a 2 year old female Doberman that I have discovered when laying down to go to sleep likes to suck on her flank. At first I thought somehow she was peeing on herself while she slept but then started to realize that the "wet spot" was always in the same spot on her flank. How normal/abnormal...

My mom just took her 16 year old Pom/Chi to the vet for a checkup. The vet looked him over and said his weight was great and his heart sounded so good he could live for many more years. My mom said another 10 years would drive her crazy(she was sorta kidding). When she told the vet about  ayton's...

When do dogs learn to catch?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
When I throw treats at Pocket (for her to catch), she just waits for it to hit her on the head and fall on the floor. She's a bit of a klutz in general- she walks into stuff ALL the time, and falls over a lot. She's only 6 mths at the moment, so she might not have the coordination yet, but I...
