    I'm miserable

My SIL backed out of our trip. So my Brother and friends are camping near by and I want to go. My boys are gone for a week and I only have my daughter. My husband does not want to go, he wants to work on his dune buggy all week. So I want to take my daughter and camp for the night. My husband is all pissy and doesn't want me to bring her because they will be drinking beer. Well Hello!! I'm a hell of a good mother and I don't drink. What is the difference if I am camping with soemone drinking beer, other than every weekend at my mothers for diner where people are drinking beer?

I'm just p'd because I am soooooo bored, I want to get out. I don't have  anyone to watch my daughter, so I would have to bring her and it just angers me that he wont just come. I'm sick of being in this house cleaning all the time. Everyone is gone away so I can't even go visit anyone. Angry I'm just fuming.

What would he do if you just went and took your little girl with you?

Other than gripe. Go if that is what you want to do. He has the same clothes to get glad in later. It is just over nite. So go. Why would you let him hold you back. So not fair.

Can he watch her tonight and you go alone?

Personally, I don't think there's anything at all wrong with kids being around people who are drinking beer, as long as the group isn't getting roaring drunk and out of control.  Just about any party/bar-b-q etc. that you go to at somebody's house or any restaurant that you go to, there are people drinking beer or wine.  I would either go by myself and let DH babysit, or go and take her along.

Well, my daughter went to sleep at my Grandmothers. If I go I wont be leaving until later, to make sure that she is going to sleep there. This is her first sleep over at their house. I wanted to bring her so that her and I could have went to the beach, but my grandparents offered to take her, so who am I to disagree.[;)] Hubby is gone. After he came home and ate the diner I cooked him and put on fresh clothes that I washed for him. So he is going to be home maybe after I am in bed. He's still p'd that I'm even going but too bad. He didn't want to spend the night with me, so he can bug off.

wow...you must have gotten up and came home very early!  i usually am an early riser anyway but more so when camping.  though it always seems to take me so long to pack and come home....

today...my husband is doing???  hmm guess i never thought to ask.  told him i needed the truck as we are loading up the horses in about an hour and headed to a state park riding for the day with about 25 friends.  should be a blast!

Yes I left the park at 6 30 this morning. Because this was my daughters first sleep over any where other than my MIL's, so I wanted to be back just in case she was upset. I'm usually up at 6. My daughter was fine and she had a good time. I'm leaving right after this post to go and get her. My grandparents are making breakfast, so I have to be there for that.

P.s. It's  agood thing I didn't go up North with my SIL my Grandfather is having health problems again.
