Flank-sucking ?

• Flank-sucking ? Janice Kolb Posted : 7/23/2006 8:01:23 AM I have a 2 year old female Doberman that I have discovered when laying down to go to sleep likes to suck on her flank. At first I thought somehow she was peeing on herself while she slept but then started to realize that the "wet spot" was always in the same spot on her flank. How normal/abnormal is this ? Other than this she is perfectly normal, healthy and happy.
