to know that you have informed someone about something they never knew about. I had two friends over tonight and we got to talking about dogs and somehow the conversation went to petstores and puppies. I mentioned that these dogs come from puppy mills. They looked at me like I was crazy and said"what...

Training & Behavior
Ok, so my puppy is done with the neuter, all shots up to date and the stitches are out. It is a perfect time to start taking both he and my older girl (2 years old) on a walk. My girl needs to lose some weight and I thought walking them outside of the yard would be good exercise. (they play in our huge...

On one of my golden retriever forums, a dog had puppies 2 weeks ago, 8 boys and 1 girl. Belong to a minister in Florida and the Mom is a show dog. I do not know if she is champion yet or not. This was her first litter of puppies. All went fine at first. She had the puppies by c-section and was a natural...

Nutrition & Exercise
I know this will be a "hot topic," so I thought I would post this to leave open for discussion. I know that some people believe that it's fine to feed a dog a food w/ grains, and some of us oppose....here is something I found browsing that may interest everyone (although I can't really...

Yesterday's scare

I know you know this, but IT'S HOT! And apparantly, it was hot enough yesterday for the power co. to cut power to certain areas at random times so they could conserve or whatever they do that for. Anyway, our area (at least a 30 mile radius) lost power for several hours yesterday afternoon, and it...
