Well we are off to the vet again...This time with Coal. I have been cleaning their ears per the vet suggestion (with their ear wash) and putting the antibiotic drops in Coal and Casey's ear. But Coal is still scratching like crazy. And its just the one ear again. Hes not chewing on his paws and isnt really scratching anywhere else now that we have the fleas under control (frontline plus wore out within 3 weeks so has to put on early). Have been giving him 3 benadryl twice a day and it seems to help some. He just wont leave that ear alone... and he doesnt act like it hurts when i clean them. I dont know what to do.. maybe he needs to be on predisone too...
Casey is doing awesome. He is still on the predisone and antibiotics and the ear meds... He is eating again and seems to be feeling better. peeing a lot but doc warned me about that...
I think i have paid close to two grand since april to one vet or the other.... hope things calm down soon!!!!
