English Mastiff owners??? Woof!

Choosing A Dog
There aren't a ton of us out there, but I know there has to be one here somewhere!!!![ ] I prefer the giant breeds and have also owned Saint Bernards. Saints and Mastiffs are a great pair together. Similar size, demeanor, energy level, etc... Couldn't ask for better dogs with kids either!...

Sofia, the Perfectly Polite Puppy Doggers did a MOST indiscreet thing last night! Yep, I woke up in the middle of the night and there she was, sleeping at the bottom of the bed. A foot away from me, on the sheet at the top of the bed was one of those hard little turds shaped just like a tiny inch...

Hello Everyone! I wonder if anyone can provide some insight as my normally sweet girl has decided in the last week to chew up 2 small wooden carved love bird that were given to my husband and me as a wedding gift. They have been sitting on the table next to the sofa for several months but on Tuesday...

How should I feed my puppy?
Posted to:

I have a 15 wk mini schnauzer puppy. She has been with us for about three weeks. In that time she has gone from 6 to 10 lbs. We recently switched her from the food the "litter owner" had her on, Purina Puppy to Nutro Max Puppy. I have just been putting out about a cup a day and she seemed to...

a 100 pound dog with zoomies?! Nightly Indy gets a severe case of the zoomies. Butt-tucked, mouth open, blindly tearing round the house. It only lasts for a couple of minutes, but I have to order the family to stand against a wall or seek refuge on a bed or couch, lest someone be bowled over by the...

I have a fourteen week old boxer that has just started vomitting and having bad diahrea. She eats around six at night and then vomits in the middle of the night. It is usually a large amount and isn't even digested. We went to the vet yesterday and took an xray where he didn't see anything but...

A TRUE STORY HEARD ON A WISCONSIN RADIO STATION REPORTING ON THE INCIDENT. A guy buys a new Lincoln Navigator for $42,500.00 (with monthly payments of $560.00). He and a friend go duck hunting in upper Wisconsin. It's mid-winter; and of course all of the lakes are frozen. These two guys go out...

I picked up a bag of canidae - 20 lb and some EVO 95 percent poultry canned. Well, I was hoping that they would dig right in to that kibble. not so. haven't found one yet that they will eat right off the bat without canned food mixed in. however, with the evo (and some left over solid gold canned...

Spirit, my 9 y old white shepherd has been bothered by an irritation on his penis. I noticed it about 5 months ago when he began licking more than usual. I took him to vet & she checked him over & said he seemed fine. A month or two later, I had another occasion to have him see another vet for...

For those of you who know of my story from the "aggression" category here, you know of my recently adopted shelter dog, Murphy (a terrier/lab mix), who bit my niece, who is 4, in the face about 8 weeks ago. He's a fearful dog who is disabled, too, and was cornered (literally, he was in...
