Flexi-leads
Posted to: News & Entertainment
I believe there was once some discussion about leashes, where many people were against the flexi-lead retractable leashes. I was wondering what the general opinion on them was. I took Scout to the dogpark today, just him and I. I left the baby home with DH. It was so nice to get out and enjoy the day even though it was pretty darn cold and windy. Just thought I'd share some pictures. My handsome...

Where to live?! (Cita ranting wildly)
Posted to: News & Entertainment
Well, as I mentioned in another thread, Rascal, BF, and I are considering getting an apartment. It's a very nice apartment, not that big though (~760 sq. ft.), very nice building... in a decent neighborhood, but the areas around the downtown are just not very good at all. So a little disconcerting...

Going to be working fulltime..to crate or not to crate?
Posted to: News & Entertainment
I have been working a part time job for almost a year and was just given the chance to take full time hours, starting in 2 weeks. I accepted, as money is a bit tight and I also love my job so it was really a no brainer for the most part. The only thing is, Sniper is used to having me home most of the...

Hi! We have a fantastic stray, approx. 1 year old, probably Mastiff/Great Dane X, sweetest boy in the world (he calmed down greatly when he got 'tutored' ;) . We have lots of dog houses for our outside dogs, well-sheltered and kept freshly strawed--all of the other outside kids (6 others) go in...

We are dissapointed. The person from the golden rescue came to our house last night with a stray young dog that someone found in PA. I should of known better then to let the first encounter be at our house and not on neutral ground, but the guy from the rescue said he wanted to bring it to our house...

I'd have preferred an alarm clock

I got to sleep a little late last night so my DH was up before I was. He had his shower and was back in our bedroom getting dressed when I started to open my eyes. He noticed me stirring and said "oh, when you've had a chance to wake up, we need to talk". Nothing, I repeat NOTHING will...

My issue is that I feed Wellness, Fish and sweet potatoe. Mostly hard with a small portion of the soft. My older dog is having the runs.
