All great photos as always, Emily, but that first one of Scout, well it's just perfect, that's all!  Perfect.

What a fun day! I bet Scout enjoyed his me-time with mommy.

Wow what amazing pictures!  So cute!  They are terrific pictures - do you use an SLR camera?

Pictures like that always brighten your day!

Oh my!  I know I sound like a broken record, but Emily, you take THE most breathtaking photos!!  Even on my old, 15" monitor, it looks like I could reach out and feel the fur on the fluffy dogs or the muscles on Scout!  Absolutely stunning images.  I know you must have a phenomenal camera, but honestly, I could've been standing right next to you with the identical camera taking the exact same shots and not have them look like that.  You are very talented!

Scout is beautiful (LOVE the pointing poses); that Bulldog is adorable, and the action shots are a riot!  I so rarely get on the forum these days, but I make a point to look for photos that will make me smile, and yours ALWAYS do!

Thanks again everyone for your comments. Yes, my camera is a digital SLR. I've had it for about 1.5 years and honestly it was the best purchase I ever made. I just LOVE it.

Tracey, I bet you could take very good pictures with an SLR. I think owning a dog puts one at a particular advantage. I have been taking pictures at the dogpark for 3 years now. And I think the thing that helps me the most now is that I have a very big zoom lens. That way I can kind of be off to the side and the dogs don't notice me crouching down, so I get pictures of them acting like dogs instead of pictures of dogs interested in who is crouching down with the funny thing in her face!

Lani, your boy is going to be a beautiful growed up weimy! Don't wish for it to happen too soon. I miss the puppy in Scout. He still acts ridiculous on occasion, but not as much as he used. Afterall he's too diginified now!

     Thanks again everyone!

Scout, you handsome devil, you! Good job pointing out something for mommy! And I laughed so hard at that last picture, the timing is just perfect! Great pictures. Smile

Those ARE great pics, especially the action shots! I graduated to a DSLR over a year ago, and it does make a big difference. I had horrendous shutter lag in my old point and shoot, which was actually a really nice camera with a Carl Zeiss lens. But by the time you wait a second or two for the shutter to click after you push the button what you were aiming at can be long gone out of the frame. Ugh! Pictures of dog butts and a patch of grass where there used to be a dog, honest there was. Wink
