Pneumonia and lung scarring

My poor dog has been on antibiotics for SIX MONTHS for the treatment of a recurring pneumonia. She has been on Clavamox and Baytril just to name a few. She now appears have recovered after her third hospitalization but the doctor believes she has scarring in her lungs. Have any of you any experience...

Zymox drops and rinse?

I bought some Zymox ear cleanser and ear drops with HC for the Bugster because one of his ears got 'off' when he needed some meds and I can't seem to get it right again. So should I clean it with the cleanser THEN put the drops in? Thanks
