Help... I'm getting to attached to my foster!

And I've only had her for about a week now.....! Her name is Molly, and I origionally thought she was some sort of beagle mix, like my last foster - Polly. Well, Molly was in a different home, and the foster mom pawned her off on me saying her BF was sick... so I said ok, I'll take her for a few days. Well... she just fits in so well! Casey loves her, and even lets her snuggle on the bed, which he never does with other dogs. I woke up this morning, and she was sprawled out on top of him - both were sound asleep! She's super smart too - knows sit, shake, lay down, and is crate trained. We're making good progress on the housetraining, only had one accident today - when she was way too excited to see me come home....coudn't help it, but we stopped her, and she finished outside like a good puppy should. Well... now I think she looks more like a boxer-type mix, but I'm really unsure. Guesses? She's going to be a hard one to give up... =/

Here are a few pictures, sorry some a blurry - I haven't had time to take some good ones of her, maybe tomorrow while I'm off.

Her ears don't normally stand up like this

Oh yes, she is quite the little monster! Of couse I wont keep her, but it's so tempting! I just don't have the time to seriously train a pup in obedience classes and such. When I do get another dog, it will be an older one, like Casey was. I love fostering the puppies, and I also love sending them off to their forever homes where they will being to majorly teeth and chew up all their furniture. Devil at least at the ages I have them for, they are content with their bones and chew toys....

Oh my how cute!   The foster home we got Rocky from was getting very attached to him also.   I still send her pics/give her a report on his training progress, how big he is growing etc.   She loves it, she says her  Hubby and the kids love being able to see how he is doing and she always signs off;  "If you get tired of him we will take him back, lol. "   Fat chance of that happening,ha!

haha, yes. I send home all my fosters with my e-mail, cell phone number, and HS business card. I tell them if they ever need anything, call me. I'll take the dog back in a heartbeat. Need a dog sitter - I'll do it!. So far - so good! I have to call on my last foster (not a puppy) and see how she's doing. She went several counties south of me, and is living on the beach.
