"Showdog Moms & Dads"
Posted to:

Anybody else catch this show last night after the premier of "Groomer Has It"? I thought it was pretty interesting....kind of showed what showdog parents go through. Honestly, I could not believe the cost of the shows! One couple had 2 Whippets, and they entered them both and it was something...

Roasted Garlic ?????
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
Is there any reason why I shouldn't give Jamison some roasted garlic gloves mixed in with his dinner? Is there any limit as to how much/or number of cloves to give him? He just goes wild over the stuff - and I was wondering if there is anything that could harm him in anyway. As always - thanks...

Oppositional Reflex
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
This just came to mind as I continue to see people trying to push their dogs' rumps down to make them sit. Maybe it would be helpful to discuss oppositional reflex and how it can retard the training process.

Breeding For Kicks...
Posted to:

well, for lack of a simpler term... what do you think of it? If someone you knew well enough was planning to unprofessionally and irresponsibly breed his/her dogs, would you try to persuade them not to? Would you see any issue with receiving one of the pups? I'm just asking this because a recent...

Need vacuum recommendation

Sioux and Sequoyah went to a doggy fun day yesterday and were tested on sheep. (No new initials after their names, it wasn't a sanctioned test.) Anyway, both my girls were awesome. Sioux, at age almost 8, went right in, remembered everything about those first sheep she saw six years ago, and passed...
