    Is there really ANY question? Wink It's Sean Connery.  No one else has even REMOTELY come close, except for Pierce Brosnan...though still a far cry from Connery's Bond. 

    Edited to add - don't get me started on Daniel Craig.  If there was a contest for "Ugliest James Bond" he would win it.  SO disappointed in that cast.

    That really is a daft question.  Connery OBVIOUSLY.  Although Brosnan wasn't TOO bad

    Given that I'm *married* to a Scot who lived in England (so my David has a definite  Connery-esqe sound to his burr) I'm completely prejudiced, altho Pierce does run a ...somewhat distant second. 

    I was a bit surprised I was so in the majority tho -- truly thot I wouldn't be.  *grin* (dialing in to listen one more time to ourmy own answering machine message *sighhhhhhhhh*)

    I haven't seen too many Bond movies - only one with Connery I think - I still have to say I'm digging Daniel Craig.  No, he's not insanely suave and debonair like Connery (swoon), but there is something about the guy that really gets me.  I liked his take on Bond and I'm looking forward to the upcoming installment w/him.  And though the question was who was the best Bond, Craig totally rocked in Layer Cake.
