Why do breeders feed ProPlan?
Recently, almost every breeders website I look at. There's a Purina Pro Plan link... All these breeders seem responsible, and do tons of health testing, have conformation champions etc. Yet they always seem to have a lttile blurb about Pro Plan and how there dogs thrive on it. I've seen...

Time to change food?
This has been driving me crazy since I've been home. The three paps my Dad has (Nard, Beau, and Rose) have the most sensitive stomachs I've ever seen. This morning I woke up again to runny dog poo on the carpet. *insert puke smilie* None of them are sick very long- less than a day or so. But...

how far do you drive for classes?
Well, the agility school we were going to for 2 years has now closed. All of the other facilities are at least 45 minutes away (the place we went to was 10 min away). How far do you travel to your classes?

I have an almost 5 year old cocker spaniel with severe food allergies. He's currently eating Hills Prescription ultra z/d canned food and with permission from his vet, I wanted to add the Royal Canin Prescription Potato and Rabbit Dry Formula. What brand dry food do you feed...
and why? I have been feeding what I thought was a good food but now have found out it is not bad but is not the best either. I don't want to know about the raw diet because I have researched it and for me it will not work so please only dry foods. Thank you for all you help.

Raw food Question
So for Thanksgiving both my mother and brother got a turkey from their work. And b/c it's only the three of us we have no use for two turkeys. So know I have a frozen turkey that I know we aren't going to eat. I was wondering if it is okay to feed it to the dogs? Will the bones be to hard...

Instead of freezing fresh meat in containers ......
I've switched to using freezer bags. Those containers were taking up way to much room in the freezer. Now when I have an excess of meat for Prancer that needs to be frozen I chunk it up, lay it on a wax paper lined cookie sheet, freeze it and then transfer to a freezer bag. Takes up alot less room...

Trey won't eat
Again... I think the problem is I've started giving him satin balls, so he won't touch his food and waits for the better stuff. I thought maybe homecooked or raw might work better. I'm not really prepared to start raw though overnight. What's a good homecooked diet recipe? Or I have read...

Zach's Anyone ever tried, or know anything about it? Someone recommended it, and the price is good. It didn't look bad to me, but i don't really know how to pick apart the ingredients.

Blue Buffalo or Innova or?
Well, I HATE this, but rising costs of my favorite dog food is forcing me to try to find something else that works while fitting into our budget. Most of you know my fav food is PetGuard Lifespan, I feed dry and canned. One bag of food and one case of cans lasts me a month. So last year the 18lb bag...
