What brand dry food do you feed...

 Taste of the Wild: pacific stream. Tyson's fur is starting to feel like puppy fur again :D 

I rotate between Canine Caviar venison & split pea, Nature's Variety Lamb, and Premium Edge Lamb. They all use grass-fed meat sources, which are the only kind I will feed. I occasionally rotate in other grass-fed kibbles, but only when I get really bored. Nature's Variety doesn't test on dogs, which is important to me also. Canine Caviar did but only once and only when the company first came out. Their formulas never change. I like that they use peas as a carb source too. It just seems better to me than grains (it is a grain-free kibble) or potato. Premium Edge is what I buy when I'm feeling really cheap. It's not a whole lot more than a dollar a pound, but still a half-decent food. The other two are of what I would consider excellent quality.

Currently are feeding Diamond Naturals L&R with a dollop of Chicken Soup canned.  Great coats and energy on this mix.

 My dogs and puppies eat TOTW. All 3 formulas. Lillie likes the prarie one the best, Fynn likes the pacific one,CheyanneKujo, and Joker will eat anything so it dont matter to them which formula I get.

Wish it came in a bigger bag though. A 30lb bag dont last a week here.

Last week, I had get **link removed** for my dog. He goes crazy for this food. He loves the fish and sweet potato, his coat is like velvet now in just a couple short months. No more shedding or flaking and NO RUDE ODOROUS GAS problem. In only one month he began developing into a much leaner muscular dog.

You said you got a nameless (spam linked) dog food "last week." Then you said in "a month" you've seen improvement.

I feed Shadow Eagle Pack Lamb Meal and Oatmeal. He's got great energy and an excellent coat. I switched him last September, which was an exellent time to switch because that is when he starts his new winter coat.  It averages about $1.70/lb. I get it locally from Green Market (a health food store) in Sherman, Texas. But I think you can also find it in the DFW area at Canine Comissary. I would assume other metro areas around the country will have some distributorships or stores that carry it. One of our old members here has a distributorship in Denton, Texas. I haven't seen him here in a while, though.

My dogs are doing pretty well on the Diamond naturals lamb but I am still waiting for a reply on the phosphorus amount.  I know eagle's percentages are good (even the lamb) in the holistic line.  I'm paranoid after losing a pretty young dog to kidney failure.  Its just those prices they charge--but if I have to I'll go back to EP and try the lamb (they kind of lost interest in the duck)
