Dog hurting herself in crate
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
I need some help! I recently adopted a dog from the local humane society. She is a 7 year old Collie Shepherd mix and she is a really great dog. The only thing I am having problems with is that she hurts herself in her crate while I am gone. First off she seems to like her crate and sleeps in it fine...

My puppy is missing a rib
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
I was petting my sisters puppy and I noticed he is missing a rib. I know he is missing a rib because part of it is there, there is only about 1 inch of a rib there, Is this something she should be concerned about and go to the vet to get checked out for?

Sleepy Grux
Posted to:

Grux and I did a hike for the homeless dogs this past Sunday to help raise some money for dogs at a local shelter. What I loved was seeing so many people out and getting their dogs exercise. We always say "a tired dog is a good dog" I love it when Grux gets in a good hike, walk or a run. It's...

Dahlia and I went to a CPE trial last weekend and had a BLAST. She got two Q's (one in Jackpot and one in Standard) and ended up getting a mini-title because of the Standard Q. We're just Level 1 and so we're just sort of figuring this stuff out. Here's my ridiculously happy...

My puppy is becoming aggressive only towards us
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
We bought a great dane puppy at 11.5 weeks old from a breeder after recommendations that they are gentle, quiet and easy to train. They are lazy and good in apartments so we thought it would be the perfect dog for us. It has become obvious that the breeder did no training with her and I would be surprised...

Hello everyone, I am kinda new to all the dog talk, and not very technically sound so kindly bear with me. I have a doberman pup 5.5 months old, he was a voracious eater, forever hungry and extremely energetic. However about 3 weeks back, he lost his appetite (which was shocking), and I took him down...

How to House Break Puppies

How to House Break Puppies... Every pet owner will need to, at one time or another, house break their puppy. Even if you plan on leaving your dog outside most of the time, it is a good idea to train them early on where they are permitted to relieve themselves. The last thing you want is to have them...

Bath Master System
Posted to:

Does anybody else use a Bath Master system & if so, do you have an issue with only one type of shampoo leaking out of it? All four of mine only leak the one type of shampoo on all of them, but the other two & the conditioner don't. Does anybody have a clue why this would be happening?
