Do they always remove the testicles? I thought they did, but a friend of ours swears her dog is altered, but his are obviously still there... is there a snip and tie procedure for dogs?

I just picked up Otto from his neuter today, he is doing great. Thanks to everyone who had nice things to say yesterday when he was loopy and fell over on his walk His vet is so nice and microchipped him and clipped his nails for free too while he was sleeping. She is a fantastic vet!
