Just got Gibby his Rabies vaccine and put him on Milk Thistle for only a couple of days... didn't have any more. So now I am going to get some more but wondered how many Mgs to give him per day...since they come in different Mgs. He is 113 lbs. Thanks!

My boy is growing up!!
Posted to:

I took Dodger in to town the other day for a walk and some training in the stores. We went to the local drug store where he sat nice and relatively calm for people to say hi to him. He also met a Pharmacist. White coat and all. The guy was a bit uneasy around him but really wanted to say hi....

Saturday Chat

Cause I'm creative like that! No catchily named chat today. I'm headed out in a bit to take Luke and Callie to a demo. She'll definitely do weight pulling, and he will definitely do flyball. Whether each does both, we'll have to see. Callie can't do flyball if there would be a risk...

interactive dog toys

Anyone have any suggestions for interactive toys? I feed Shane both breakfast and dinner out of his kong (frozen). It's been a great way to give him something to do for awhile. I'm looking for something similar but that I could use during the day. Since I can't tire him out with strenuous...

Flax Seed Meal Question
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I posted this on FB but I will try here too: I purchased some ground flax meal and made some crackers out of it per a recipe I found. The crackers have a fishy type taste to them. Is that how the flax meal is supposed to taste or is it bad/spoiled?

I've got two if anyone wants them. One is a Dogwise book called Try Tracking (Puppy tracking primer) by Carolyn Krause and another by William Syrotuck called Scent and the Scenting Dog. Free to good home. :) I have no idea if they're good, bad or indifferent, as I bought them for a friend who...

I saw these yesterday, checked they were grain free, and bought some. One box, regular size, of "clean apple crisp," and one box, regular size, "clean carrot crunch." This evening, I opened the apple ones, cut in half and delivered. WOW, all 4 pups ran happily off to their respective...

Fleas? Seriously?!!?

So, I think I have finally figured out that Luke has fleas. Maybe a week or so ago, I was brushing him, and found a bug on him. He's also had some black dirt in his hair when I've brushed him for a bit. Today, I pulled another bug of the same type off while brushing him. So, I finally looked...
