Apple cider vinegar
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I just read this (excuse the long copy and paste below). What do you think? Should we be feeding our dogs apple cider vinegar regularly? The site had the suggested amounts to giver depending on weight. ([link http://www.tailwagginsbakery.com/newsletter.htm]http://www.tailwagginsbakery.com/newsletter...

Treadmill
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
I saw on Cesar Milan, The Dog Whisper that he uses a treadmill and I thought how nice that would be on rainy days. But my dog just stands there and falls off the treadmill. He looks quite funny. I tried holding him with the leash so he has to run but I know he is not having a good time and he still just...

Puppy has learned how to unlock crate!!!
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Help! My 6 month old Havanese has just figured out how to get himself out of a double latch crate. We found him at our bedroom door to our amazement. Is this normal? Husband is convinced that we have a ghost living in our home who helped him out. I think he's just very intelligent. Any thoughts?...

Weird spots
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
I have a 6-month-old puppy Boston Terrier that recently developed about 10-15 freckle/mole like spots on his lower abdomen (looks like more are coming). They're dark in color but still transparent (if that makes sense). He's also developed two larger (half the size of a penny) moles (?) but darker...

Does anyone do this with their dog? I have visited their website and was just curious if any idoggers had tried it out. I think it looks awesome--Sally would love it....

So happy together....

Someone very kindly demanded via PM that I post pictures of Pofi and Mia! I responded that it has been tough to catch the blur that is the two of them playing - they are absolutely inseparable. But I worked from home today and for a while they were resting. This was the scene at my feet:

... join it! It's been raining for WEEKS here ... the dogs are tired of being cooped up, so I packed them up and took them to the ranch today to visit Swamp Thing's big brother, aka, Stryder (my horse.) I didn't even bother trying to groom him... I just gave him some snacks and played...

DinoVite: Has anyone used it?
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
My Lab is perfect (whose isn't?), but has developed allergies. Typical symptoms of hair loss and some weight loss. Vet isn't sure whether it's food or airborne. That said, I found a product called Dinovite which seems to be a nice, natural approach to solving the problem. Their website...

and anyone else who knows that breed.............."Dora" was adopted from a shelter, so we don't know for sure what she is, but are pretty certain she's part border collie. Do you see any Basenji in her? She has that angular face and a pretty curly tail. What do you think? BTW, you...

Tyler is FINE!

Couldn't wait any longer so went ahead and CALLED the vets office and Tyler is awake and sitting up. They removed the tooth and the family jewels both. I sent his bed with him and a toy that he loves just in CASE they make me leave him overnite, but that's NOT my plan. But, regardless, the kennel...

Instead of hijacking another person's thread, thought I'd start my own. Is there stuff that I could do some work with on my own? The paperwork that I got from the trainer when we were with her has been lost in the last move. Also, I don't have any equipment and right now with school and...
