• Tyler is FINE! glenmar Posted : 3/16/2006 11:18:45 AM Couldn't wait any longer so went ahead and CALLED the vets office and Tyler is awake and sitting up.  They removed the tooth and the family jewels both.  I sent his bed with him and a toy that he loves just in CASE they make me leave him overnite, but that's NOT my plan.  But, regardless, the kennel is much more comfy with his bed! • cakana Posted : 3/16/2006 11:50:27 AM Yippee Glenda - I'm so glad you were able to do both procedures and I'm sure you're relieved to have that out of the way.  So happy to hear he came thru it just fine.  Anesthesia is soooo scary, so now you don't have to worry about it again.  He's going to be happy to have that nasty tooth out of there...not so sure he'll be thrilled to see the other parts missing tho.  Do you think they wake up and say "hey...what happened down there?" • glenmar Posted : 3/16/2006 5:55:41 PM He's home.  Clinic policy is to KEEP them overnite, but between me being a pain about it, and of course explaining that he'd been rehomed and sent back after 7 weeks and is really, really clingy to me, and the vet knowing DS really well since he works next door and she takes care of the strays, the boarded animals and the daycare animals in an emergency....she decided to let him come home.  He's fine, very alert, and very happy to be home. Not thrilled about being in his crate, but he'll get over it.  Strict crate rest tonite.  They sent the tooth home (thankfully not the testicles) and it was in THREE pieces.  No wonder it abcessed.  He's not supposed to have dinner tonite, but I'll likely cheat and give him  a LITTLE roast beef and carrots......not his typical dinner, but something in that poor empty tummy. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
