our 11 week old puppy ate the corner of her pee pad yesterday while we were out. She threw it up yesterday afternoon. However she is not eating and is dry heaving ever since (saliva comes out whne she dry heaves). Is there anything we can do. She didn't eat too much of the pad and it seemd to have...

Found a puppy question
Posted to:

So I found a stray puppy this morning. I plan to take him to the shelter in the morning but I'm not sure what to do with him in the meantime. Would it be ok to crate him and bring him inside for the night? I would have already done so but I'm a bit worried about my dogs catching something (although...

Advise from other groomers
Posted to:

I am currently using Heritage classic canine shears, but want to get a new pair. The ones I really like are well over $100.00 and can't afford them. I have been looking at others, but would like to get some imput from others on what they like and why (features, feel, balance, maintenance, etc). I...

What Is My Puppy Doing?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Hi everyone, I have an eleven week old Boston Terrier puppy. He often tries to get behind my husband and I, so we can't see him (when we're either sitting or standing) and it almost seems like he's trying to intimidate us. He gets behind us and lunges, or grabs our pant legs. For now we've...

Ball Obsession
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Does anybody know how to help a dog with Ball Obsession? My girlfriend has year and a half old boxer who is really obsessed about balls. Every time we go to the dog park, all he does is search out for tennis balls to chew on. He isn't very good at playing fetch as he'd rather sit and chew on the ball...

Hi everyone, I have a 11 week old Boston Terrier named Bowzer who is currently living in our kitchen. We have baby gates up so he has a place to run, and he also has a crate. He loves his crate and is happy to go in it. My question is this: when my husband and I go to bed, we usually sleep for...

Reactive vs Aggressive
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
Alright, somebody explain it, again. V-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y. LOL I've always thought Emma was a reactive dog. Emma is not blatantly aggressive (when she's not post ictal, but that's a totally different situation). She has some mild leash aggression, which is so common in the breed it's...

Something wrong with his... penis?

Health & Grooming
So, I went outside to feed my dogs this morning and noticed a large red "thing" protruding from Paco. I guessed it was normal since he's a male and didn't really know if there was anything wrong because it's the first time I've had a male dog. A friend gave him to me about...

I am looking for some advice on APBT. My son has a 12 week old male pup and I want to make sure that we use the proper training/socialization with him to ensure a well adjusted adult. Any help would be appreciated. Here's Thor at 12 weeks!

When I did a 'what is he' thread, the consensus was pure pit. Do you guys still think that? He's awfully tall and lanky.
