sleeping under blankets

im not sure if this is a problem but it worries me because sometimes jake will crawl all the way under the blankets head first and its all warm and toasty under there and im worried he will suffocate!! so i make him come back out and then crawls back under again. it just worries because his entire body...

I had April in the vet's yesterday, woman come in with an 8 week old tiny pup that was so sick! They had just got it the night before, she said it jumped off a chair, it could not even hold it's head up, I thought it would die before the vet could see it. It threw up also while it was there....

Does anyone know a good way to prevent ticks - front line doesnt seem to work very well, my dog brings in like 6+ ticks a night that we pull off him, and sometimes we miss some. I dont know if I can get him preventick because I have an 8 month old baby. Any suggestions?
