We got a cocker spaniel in Feb. Here's the story. He was taken to the Humane Society because "he couldn't be potty trained." He was adopted, lost after one week, we found him, adoptor did not want him back. He is 13 months old. I cannot house-break him. He gets fed at regular times. I take him outside every couple of hours, when I'm home, which is most every day. He stays outside when I'm not. He poops and pees in his kennel, so I've given up on that. If he can't make it all night , he wakes me and we go out. The problem is that sometimes, during the day, when I take him out he will not "go potty" (he knows this phrase) and then he will pee or poop right in front of me 15 minutes after we've come back in. I have never had this kind of problem training a dog. It's like he's doing it on purpose. He is spoiled, gets lots of attention. I don't know what to do, but this can't go on. Any advice???
