We just took in an older GSD, who has been neglected. She is very thin and obviously poorly muscled. I've given hera high calorie dry food mixed with a little warmed canned food, to entice her to eat. She is eating, and I know it will take some time for her to reach a healthy condition... but I'm...

Hi all, We continue to struggle through our adoption of a six year old male toy poodle. His previous owners worked full time and he was crated all day in their home "without any difficulties." Okay. He has been in our home about 8 weeks. When I go out, I have him go into his crate....

i rescued a lhaso apso 3 months ago from a bad situation. as a result, he's had a lot of hang ups, although many of them he has worked thru amazingly quickly! he's very sweet in nature, but he's about 3-5yrs old now, and in those first years of his life he was never around other dogs or people...

Okay guys I need help before I either 1) get hurt or 2) look like an idiot [ ] Someone called the shelter today asking if they could drop off a poodle (full grown not sure of age) who was abused.
