Posted to:
News & Entertainment
This is being discussed on another board and I'm hoping that we have some dog groomers on board who can answer this question. Some people have mentioned using Head and Shoulders dandruff shampoo on their dogs. I did some research and it shows that the main ingredient in it can cause blindness in...

My dog did it again. -_-

BUT, this time I took the advice from what was given the first times. I still think I did it wrong. Or I shouldn't have backed off at all. He grabbed the bread from the table, no one was paying attention and when I caught him, he ran behind the couch to continue eating. I was grabbed his colar...

On a mission to get my dogs off of yuck food!

Nutrition & Exercise
My dogs have been fed for their whole lives what I can only imagine is an awful brand....for those of you in Eastern US who might know it, it's the Kostco brand, Kirkland Signature. My dad just buys it because it's convenient and probably cheap...I don't think he believes that there are "bad"...

SOPHIE UPDATE
Posted to:

Some of the older members might remember Sophie my GSD with Crytoccocus. I just wanted to give an update on my Sophie. After 9 months of intense treatment and thousands of dollars later the Cryto is still with her. The lab figgurs that her fungus has become imune to the drugs and she will never be cured...

SO and I are going to have our backyard landscaped in order to make it a) more dog friendly and b) nicer, as we now have Ben and we will be selling the house in 18 months so the more attractive, the better. I want to leave some grass for Ben, and we want to add a decked/paved area for our bbq and a table...

We took a trip to a nearby lake this weekend, hiked into the narrows and found lots of mud for Rory to play in. Who knew she would have liked mud so much, I think it cooled her down!

Lamb & Rice dry food

How many people feed their dogs the lamb and rice formulas? I switched my two dogs over to lamb and rice, and they both are doing better (no more soft stools). Any favorite brands of lamb and rice that you like?
