My Boxer was spayed today, the vet said to give her medicine after she's eaten but she won't eat. Is it okay to give her the medicine on an empty stomach or is that too bad for her?

apparently so............a 3 month old lab pup decided to nip jacob in the face so hard that it drew blood, and so he growled and scared her... she runs away whimpering. and i asked the ower if lucy was alright and he said ya just scared.. i turn to look at jacob and his cheek is bleeding!! holy crap...
