    nutrient data of rmbs?

I'm making a database of Roscoe's food to make sure that I am meeting all his nutrient requirements and getting the right ratios, etc.  The problem I have run into is that I cannot find a thorough analysis of RMBs -specifically, turkey and chicken necks.

Does anyone know how I can find that info?  [:D]

Never mind -- I found it. Monica Segal's book has nutritional data of rmbs. [:D]

I didn't know that!  That's cool.  I'll have to get that now.  I wonder whether they carry it in any of the local book stores.  Some of the holistic resources have finally started appearing recently at Borders and B&N - as well as some of the better, positive oriented training books.

I don't have a credit card so ordering stuff online is a pain.  I really have grown to hate that!

Jen, here's a good website too:

I have to start doing that for Scout.  Right now we're working on single protein sources and starting to add some new meats in(don't want to upset the stomach by throwing all new things at him each day).  Right now he gets chicken backs or breastplates with beef heart and tripe.

Becca, do you do paypal ? SitStay [linkhttp://www.sitstay.com/store/books/diet1.shtml]http://www.sitstay.com/store/books/diet1.shtml[/link] carries it and takes paypal. This is where I ordered my copy from. Barnes and Noble was not able to order it for me.

Yeah, I have to go find a copy now, too.  I came across that info on a raw-feeding forum.

Emily - I love that site, but it doesn't consider "bone" when giving the nutritient data.  And barfworld.com's "analysis" of rmbs is really limited (basically just a few minerals in percentage form rather than mg form).

Jen thankyou so much!! I have been breaking my neck trying to find where i saw the analysis of raw bones,as i promised someone on here that i would post them(now i've forgotten who [8|] ).I have literally hundreds, maybe close to a thousand now, of canine health books and articles on my bookshelf.Monica's being one of them, and the thought of trawling through them all is a touch daunting [:o]

Here's a site that allows you to look up ANY food item to get the nutrient information.

You will find it very informative. I have had to use it for my animal nutrition classes.

Thanks shorthair, I DO paypal - or rather my husband does, I'll have to get him to take care of it.  After the closing.  I'm starting to feel like my life resumes after we close on the old house with swinging mortgage and rent here.  I am not complaining, however!  [:D]

Thank you, kennel_keeper, I know that site, but it doesn't do RMBs. [:)]
