Lower jaw quivering
Posted to: Health & Grooming
Hi everyone...my gf wanted me to post on this forum about their family dog. Their toy poodle, Niki, is about 5-6 years old. At times (not all of the time) her lower jaw will quiver, chatter like when someone is cold. The vet says that acid reflux is causing this, which seems like an odd diagnosis. Has...

Avocado Oil in dog food
Posted to: Nutrition & Exercise
I was always under the impression that all parts of the avocado should not be fed to dogs so I was rather surprised to find out that Avoderm, Healthwise and Flint River Ranch had avocado oil in some, if not all, their products. Is it the quantity of avocado consumed by dogs that is of concern or...

Does this sound reasonable?
Posted to: Nutrition & Exercise
Hi. I just started feeding my dogs home cooked meals. Could you tell me if this sounds like a balanced, complete meal? They won´t eat kibble any more. I will probably give them the same menu for a week, and change it weekly so they eat different types of food. This would be the menu for the first week...

I have a 3 year old chihuahua and now a 7 week old aussie mix, I have a pretty big wire crate and I was wondering if I can put them both in there at night? They get along fine and trust me there is plenty of room!

Attack Incident Last night
Posted to: Training & Behavior
I was taking my cockapoo for a walk as she is way strung out right now with puppy energy. We were nearly home when we had passed near a place where several neighbors were outside talking with one another. It has been really nice here in Colorado lately and the evenings are wonderful. So it is great that...

Does your dog love it?
Posted to: News & Entertainment
OK. Here's my first question post for y'all! I've had my GSD/Husky mix for almost 7 years now. We rescued him from the shelter at 6 weeks old, and he was my first "child". He's well trained, well mannered, and SO tolerant. Anyway, I've always tried to feed him well, but...
