Refusing Food? (Canidae)
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
Tux has been walking away from a full food dish over the past week or so. He will eventually go back and eat it, but this morning he ate part of it then just walked away. I've been feeding them homecooked and raw as well as Canidae. Is this causing him to refuse? The vet says there's nothing...

Hi all, I'm very new to this forum and I have quite a weird situation/question reguarding my girlfriends poodle/maltees mix.. The dog is about 9 years old, not spayed. According to my gf, the dog was the result of accidental inbreeding (father/daughter). Has alot of signs of inbred animals: under...

My Son is a year old!
Posted to:

So Jonandel turned 1 year old on Friday, its amazing that he has grown so fast, I still want to think of him as my newborn baby. We had a small cake for him, because on Saturday hes having a party at McDonalds. He promptly stuck his little chubby hand in the cake and tried to eat the fistful of frosting...

Protection training...sort of

I have a year old APB/Rotti mix. The dog absolutely adores my five year old son but has ultimately bonded more with me. When we first got him we lived in a bad neighborhood, gunshots regularly, car broken into twice, two incidents of someone trying to force their way into our house. The first time it...

Doggie Dreaming :-)

I know Roxie can't be the only dog to have dreams. It's very cute to see her sprawled out on the couch (she's allowed on furniture), kicking and twitching. Sometimes she'll bark a little, too. I'd love to know what's going on inside those dreams! [ ] Anyone else think it's...
