New puppy alone

Hi! I wanted to get a puppy (boston terrier) or rescue one. I am undecided as to which I am going to do yet, although I realize a rescued pet might need a little more love depending on what they've been through. Anyways, my question is, how long does everyone leave their dogs alone during the day...

Housebreaking a new dog

I just adopted a dog who is a little over a year old. She is pretty much housebroken. The problem is that she has decided to use a room in our house that is currently being used for storage whenever given the opportunity. Personally, I think the solution to the problem should be to shut the door to that...
