I have ALWAYS wanted one and recently someone told me they are no good with kids. I have always planned once we get our farm to get one as a pup. But now everyone has me afraid to get one because they say they have no tollerence for small children. Is this so?

Embarrassing at the dog park..is this normal?

I've been taking my dog to the dog park for about a month now. Usualy when there are other dogs there he'll acknowledge them but do his own thing sniff trees/mark/ etc. On occasion and all of yesterday he'll go upto to other dogs specificaly males and will sniff butt which is typical but...

Hi, My mother's 1 year old Pug was hit by a truck and she took it to the vet. The vet did x-rays and said nothing was broke; however, the hip was dislocated. Skunk smell! HELP !

Wrigley got sprayed by a skunk mainly around his face. We are using tomato juice and dog shampoo to get rid of the smell. He didn't get bit or scratched and it didn't get in his eyes. Any other suggestion that we would be able to use around his face? The peroxide mixture is too harsh. Thanks...
