Seat covers/seat belts
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I drive a 4 door sedan and I'm curious to see if anyone has found a doggy seat cover that works really well for this kind of car? I tried a cover where you could still use the seatbelt, but the dogs seemed to slide around on the material. It also didn't attach to the seat very well and the dogs...

My Pet Shop Complaint
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
A couple of months ago, I was at a pet shop in a mall out here in Los Angeles. Not to buy a puppy, but to look at puppies. I could never resist not going into one when I walk pass one! It really saddens me & breaks my heart to see how the puppies are at pet shops! This pet shop in particular, I felt...

A friend of mine on a breed discussion list periodically sends an email with interesting dog related links. Here is one of his more recent finds. Of course the first slide show I did was the Paris Rapid Transit Dog Unit, wow. Then I clicked on a link from a show in 2005. It is the pic with the rott on...

On Native Soil

Is a documentary about the 9/11 Commission Report. I saw it last night. If you have the opportunity, watch it when it comes on CourtTV again. Very powerful and presented in an interesting way. refusal to walk

Nutrition & Exercise
Ever since Diego turned 8 months he has developed the charming behavior of plopping his butt down on the pavement during our walks and refusing to move. I take him for a 1.5 mile walk in the morning and it isn't much fun lately! I bring lots of treats with me, and have successfully taught him "heel"...

I took Ben for a walk at a local park a few hours ago, and was on my way home when I ran into a little girl (who proudly told me she is FOUR!) walking with her father. I did what I always do and got Ben to sit as they passed, but she stopped and asked if she could say hi. The father told me they have...

Lonsdale's books - Raw Meaty Bones and Work Wonders

Two of Dr. Tom Lonsdale's books are available in their entirety for free online. It's very generous of him to make these available. I haven't read them, but I have heard that they are informative. [link http://www.rawmeatybones.com/book-full.html]http://www.rawmeatybones.com/book-full...
