Wheaten terrier with PLN near the end

Can dogs get sunburned?

This may be a silly question, but since I have a predominantly white dog that loves sitting in the sun... can they get sunburned? If so, is there any way I can protect her?

Anyone near Escanaba, MI?

I'm going up there for work and wanted to bring the dogs and make it a camping/hiking/working adventure. However, I can't take the dogs to work with me obviously so I'm looking for a doggy day care or some place I can leave them for a day (8 hrs or so).
