Figured I go ahead and start today's thread. I'm finally back to my normal schedule today and for the next two weeks before I'm helping with another session of camp - no more 6:30 wake ups for two weeks! yay! Anyone react to mosquito bites? I have two bites from something on my hip and they...

leashes
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I'm looking for a new leash. Maybe 8 feet or so, or longer. It would be nice to have a traffic handle, but not required. I'm looking at maybe leather, but I'd stick with plain old nylon if I can't get anything at a decent price, or anything in between. We have a 4' nylon that's...

Choosing A Dog
I've posted before a few months back, but I cant find the thread to refer to so I guess I'll start a new one... I'm still researching which breed of dog I would like to get this fall/winter when my foster pup gets placed. It would have to be 20 pounds or lighter since that might make it...

raw/home food vs kibble for Bugsy
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
For quite some time now I have been feeding Bugsy some raw/home meals for his dinner - he still gets kibble for breakfast because it is easy but I am trying to do as many non-kibble meals as I can. A couple of facts - for those that don't know he has horrible allergies - identified food allergies...

7 words you can't say on IDog
Posted to:

I was sadden to hear of the passing of George Carlin and reminded of his famous "7 Words" bit. So in his memory and in keeping with his sense of humor, here is my list of 7 Deadly Insults on IDog. 1. Caesar Worshiper 2. Human Treat Dispenser 3. Anti Pit Bull 4. Designer Dog Breeder 5. PETA...

Well, my dear little Gibson just started doing zoomies at the ripe age of 12 weeks. I was wondering if he was ever gonna do them. But unfortunately he has a new twist to the zoomies.... as he runs by BITES! Oh...yes..even jumping up on you and taking a bite as you run past. Gees.... I'm not sure...

Posted to:

Ten more days of the cone . Gypsy pulled part of her leg incision open when the stitches were being removed. Also, four of her spay stitches didn't look ready to come out, so we're on week two. Bleah. I bought some waterless shampoo to clean her up because she usually has a bath once a week...

Buster gives me a pleasant surprise.
Posted to:

This just makes me smile. Last week a friend of mine came over with her dog (a beagle /basset mix possibly) who is not really very social. All of my dogs greeted her (they were excited to have another girl around, I think LOL). And Buster just totally shocked me. He was jumping around, playbowing...
