Kenya passed the Temperament Test today! Like the CGC, how "hard" the TT is varies between the test environments and the individual instructors. We signed up to take the TT at a police dog academy, and the instructor takes the test very seriously. At first I felt a lot of pressure because I...

Posted to:
Training & Behavior

He will stop as soon as I do and has realized that when I am about to begin I inhale so he starts...

your dog(s) and zoomies
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Bugsy loves his zoomies - he does them everyday usually a few times a day. It just cracks me up and I feel pretty able to predict when he will just launch into one. With his size it isn't best when he does them inside which he doesn't normally do but did last week several times. Once he starts...

just saw a kid on the today show who has created a website that mimics freerice.com but benefits dogs www.freekibble.com looks like it is getting hammered at the moment so it may be best to wait a little basically you play a trivia game and right answers mean 20 pieces of kibble (looks like Canidae)

Posted to:

My friend and co worker called me tonight crying. She had taken her 13 year old daughter to the beach today for a fun day because it was her birthday. The kids were swimming in the water--which is the ocean--and the current pulled her daughter out and under. It's so horrible. But, she was deprived...
