I do not discuss politics, and this is not to start any problems. I read this in our paper. Take it as you wish.

Pet owners who favor - John McCain- 42% - Barack Obama- 37%

Dog owners who favor - McCain- 43% - Obama 34%

Cat owners who favor - McCain 41% - Obama 38%

People without pets - Obama 48% - McCain 34%

Obama has no household pets.

McCain has two dogs, two cats, two turtles, a ferret, three parakeets, and saltwater fish.

Who owns a dog?

I've seen this. I've also seen that tho his (Barack's) kiddos want a dog he's said right now is much too busy a time for one. Wish more parents would put their foot down like that!

In the primary, I couldn't for the life of me decide between Hillary and Barack, but I wanted to vote. So I spent tons of time researching them both, trying to find even just one little thing that would tip the scales in favor of one. I couldn't. It was literally 20 minutes before the polls closed and I couldn't pick. Soo I found stuff about their feelings towards animals, how they voted in animal issues, if they had pets, etc., and I voted for Hillary. That was when it came down to the last second, and everything else was equal. I don't think many people are terribly torn between Obama and McCain. I would never vote in the actual presidential election just based on who has pets. Now, if one of the candidates was an I-dogger...might be a little tougher. Stick out tongue

i just want to know the stance on BSL and mandatory spay and neutering.
