New Hampshire Residents - Any dog friendly lakes?!
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Ok, so we are forutnate to have a river with beach area in our "backyard" that Ari is allowed on, but I much prefer swimming in lakes. However, NH State parks are off limits to dogs and trying to find public access beaches for just humans is a challenge! Any NH residents here know any dog friendly...

Canned vs. dry

Right now Rascal's eating Wellness Core Ocean, but he doesn't seem wildly thrilled by it. It seems to be working well for him, though. I recently found a store nearby that carries the Wellness canned foods, and I've been considering switching him to canned. I tried it once before and he tended...

Misha is going with us to the beach in a week and a half, and my parents are trying to convince me he'd be better off naked or nearly naked. He's a little shaggier than this right now I know I just went through this "how naked should he be" but please remind why it's a good or bad...

Mindless Chatter - Monday

*yawn* My cable got shut off because I didn't pay it. I think I'll just cancel it all together. It's not like there's anything on in the summer anyway and I hardly have time to watch it. Not worth paying $100 for. Besides, maybe it's time for a change to satellite in the fall. I couldn't...

At this point transport is a misnomer so I figgered I'd start a new thread. This touches everything -- health, rescue, general dog stuff, outrage, and puppies! so ... 'general' still seemed to fit. Move it Mods, if you think it's better! She's at foster care -- I just spoke to Rita...

Posted to:
Choosing A Dog
For an acquaintance, does anyone have any good Golden or Lab kennel recommendations? I am not familiar enough with these breeds. I only know of one Golden kennel I could recommend based on first hand experience.

All right, who watched it? I never watch tv anymore and I just happened to check the tv listings for the National Geographic Channel and got really excited when I saw they had an hour special on dogs! It was SO interesting. They focused on Dogo Argentinos, Saluki's, dock-jumping Labs, obsessive Bull...

NILF Help!

Ari needs NILF, her humans need NILF or Ari may not reach adult-hood (ok that's being overly dramatic). I tried searching the forum for NILF (in particular links online) but the one link I found didn't go to a valid web page anymore :( We both want to redirect a lot of Ari's behaviors and...
