Cat Safe Alternative to Frontline for Dogs?
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
So I'm still battling Indie's "hot spot" but not. The vet isn't quite sure what it is now, it's contained to one spot, on his inner thigh. When he was put on a topical antibiotic/steroid ointment, he started breaking out in pustules in the area. So he's off the ointment...

Hot Spots Suck!
Posted to:

Poor Indie. He started Sunday with a slight rash that I tried to keep him from messing with. Yesterday was crazy and I couldn't get him to the vet 'til today. He'd worried into a good sized spot about 5 inches long by 2 inches wide on his inner thigh. It's all raw and oozy and looks terribly...

Frosty likes FRR oven baked nugget but it does not like him.First it was bad stinky gas and now it's loose stool. I have been trying to find a food he likes and when I do it does bad things to him.I'm trying to get him to eat a little Blue Buff Wilderness but he picks out the FRR and leaves...

Michael Buble` in concert
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
This is for Calinisima Well I will say that he is an even better singer in concert than he is on records. He spends a little too much time entertaining the audience but his singing makes it worth it. I will add that I have played trombone in big bands professionally since the age of 16 and have both...

How can you tell when a dog is over doing it at the park For exmaple I throw the ball to my dog for say 30 mins at the park and then she will pant for an hour when we get home. Does that mean she worked to hard chasing the ball? I do take water with me to the park and I do let her rest after a...

Joker did great today.
Posted to:

Today was our town festival. I took Joker so he could get used to crowds and noises. Well he did great. There were cannons shooting off once in a while. They were LOUD. Joker never flinched. When the parade started he actually watched it!! He was very interested in the fire trucks blasting their horns...

travel agent bankrupt?

My son is getting married at an all inclusive resort in the Carribean in three weeks. There are thirty some odd people going, most of whom booked through the same travel agent. I would guess most paid by credit card, and probably paid last March. We never received any official information (other than...

tattoo people- tipping question
Posted to:

Hey guys, I'm just curious how much (percentage or otherwise) you normally tip your tattoo artist, if at all. My husband got tattooed yesterday by someone I know, who clearly "hooked him up" price-wise, and I happen to think DH lowballed him on the tip... just curious what anyone...

Swimming! What do you do?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
For those of you that take your dogs swimming: How far away from the water source are you? How often do you take your dogs? I have labs, and I LOVE taking them swimming! I am wondering how far into the cold weather they can keep going though. What temps do you not swim in? I wish I could take them daily...

New car...buy vs lease?
Posted to:

I used to know the advantages of one over the other, but the brain gets foggy at times. Since my DH passed and I am on my own, I have decided to trade in my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee for something new. We were going to do that anyways...but things got in the way. I have pretty much decided on a Nissan...
