    Frosty and Flint River Ranch

Frosty likes FRR oven baked nugget but it does not like him.First it was bad stinky gas and now it's loose stool.

I have been trying to find a food he likes and when I do it does bad things to him.I'm trying to get him to eat a little

Blue Buff Wilderness but he picks out the FRR and leaves the Wilderness.

I checked out FRR at dogfoodanalysis.com and they gave it a 3 star rating because the second and third ingredients are

whole wheat flour and ground rice.

Myrt has always been the one with poo problems and having Frosty with this trouble has got me bummed out.

I think Eagle Pack Holistic can work for just about any dog. My dog is eating their small and mini breed adult right now and I've fed all varieties of their holistic food except for the fish. I've always been really pleased with Eagle Pack and definitely recommend trying it. Some foods for sensitive stomachs that I can think of off the top of my head are California Natural, Natural Balance and Wellness Simple Solutions.

I have tried the Wellness Simple Solutions,Core, and E/P. Frosty had been eating Royal Canin Active Special 25

but after 20 pounds of this food he stopped eating it and was eating Myrt's food.Myrt's food is Royal Canin Calorie

High Fiber. You may remember that Myrt needs a high fiber food.

I wonder if it might be a good idea to let him fast for a day and then just feed him small amounts of the Blue Buff for a day

    and stop the FRR.

I swiched to River to FFR 3 years ago after having problem with all the premium foods and loose stools.  I have the oposite effect, it worked better for River and he has been on it ever since.  Good luck - try adding pysllium husk to his diet, the fiber works very well to help with loose poops.

Frosty's sister,Myrt has to eat Royal Canin Calorie Control high fiber.I'm use to her having poo problems.

I'm hoping that Frosty and Myrt could both eat the Blue Buff. I have been adding some to Myrt's R/C food and it has not caused her to have

any loose stools so far.Frosty has been eating the Blue Buff the past two days and his stools are very small.I know that he would rather have the FRR.

If Myrt can eat this food with out any problems,Frosty may not have any choice to eat it.It would make feeding them so much easier and cut down on the cost of having to buy two types of food.Myrt's R/C C/C H/F cost $43.00 for 17 pounds.

I guess we will see what happens when it's time for Myrt's next poop alert.
