This Will Be Fun & Interesting!

I have been asked to start handling a friends dog in agility. While I am very honored I am apprehensive too. I still consider myself a novice handler who has a really good dog. My friends dog is a young Cardigan Corgi. That in itself will be interesting since Belle is huge, and now I have a little one...

Filling Emma up
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I'm thinking it's probably all in vain, but.... I'm working on ways to fill Emma up, in my head, LOL. She was perfectly happy, with her 4 oz, twice a day, treats and chews in between. She started on seizure medicine, and now she's decidedly NOT happy with the food she's getting. She's...

Mindless Chatter - Weekend

I had an AWFUL night last night. I was feeling "off" all day but didn't put 2+2 together and recognise the signs of an oncoming migraine...I am lucky I get aura but often it simply mimics tiredness, interspersed with boosts of manic energy, not always easy to tell that from a busy day....

Bev & Shooter passed their therapy dog tests yesterday, so we had a little celebration. Bevo got a watermelon, which Shooter wanted. Shooter got a baked sweet potato. They both got to go for a run at our new property. Shooter found a snake in the pond, & went in after it to kill it, which he...

Sandy has developed a taste for Q-tips... Fine.. No worries there, they're all picked up.. Or so I thought! Out of the corner of my eye I see her chewing on something. My boyfriend took the first three shots with his 35mm (he just recently went digital). He's obviously a much better photographer than I am! [IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/LPacker79/Poseidon/00170011...

Orijen Puppy
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
Hello all-- Just wondering for a friend of mine---Orijen Puppy-how large are the kibble? I know that in the adult formula, the kibble is a bit large and flat as compared to something like EVO, in which the kibble is very small. She will be feeding a small breed puppy. Thanks for any input.

I rescued a human today
Posted to:

I rescued a human today. Her eyes met mine as she walked down the corridor peering apprehensively into the kennels. I felt her need instantly and knew I had to help her. I wagged my tail, not too exuberantly, so she wouldn't be afraid. As she stopped at my kennel I blocked her view from a little...

Yeah? I am looking for something very specific - 'Recession' from Benjamin Britten's 'A Ceremony of Carols", but sung with harmony, and if it's a boy's choir even better. Told you it was specific. And if anyone wants to recommend any faves, that would be cool.

I went up to the old trailer to check the mail and I find this little girl up there. I asked the neighbors around there if she was theirs or knew who she belonged to and they said no. She is a good weight, nice white teeth, and short well trimmed nails. She appears to be spayed also. I can see a spay scar...
