Singling out specific dogs?
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
Hey everyone! I was just wondering if dogs have a tendancy to 'single out' other, specific dogs? There is one dog in our apartment complex that Cyrus cannot walk by without snarling and barking at; it's a Shiba Inu, about his age, I think. He has also shown aggression towards other dogs in...

Coccidia

Maya has coccidia. I've been given Corid to use in her water for the next ten days. Any thoughts? And should I be refridgerating the gallon of water mixed with Corid?

Hi, My 4 year old beagle was trying to jump into my lap and his missed [ ]. He couldn't jump on the couch or anywhere. I would put him up, my mistake, he had to jump down. Finally he started whimpering when he would stand and I know where he hurts. It is the area around the top portion of his...

He is The Boss
Frustrated!!!
Posted to:

I just found out tonight that the sale of my house is going to be delayed by 2 to 3 weeks, I'll know more later this week. The realtor decided to check with the buyers because she hadn't heard from them in a while. The close was set for next week on the 25th. Technically they have gone outside...

Is my puppy abnormally smart?
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I took him on his first walk leashless the other night and he followed at my heel the whole time and only stopped to pee/poop and sniff occassionally. I just had to whistle and he would come back if he ventured too far or something. I always whistle to get him to come here and he usually listens in the...

Prayers are working

Just wanted to let everyone know how much I appreciate the prayers when I posted about my eyes. I am happy to report that the Prednisone is doing what we hoped it would and is drying up the bleeds in my eye. I have been able to taper down twice now from 60 mg initially and now am on 20 mg. Doctor...

SOME DAYS JUST DON'T START OUT WELL

So, I'm taking Max for his walk this a.m.and he stops to poop in the tall grass along side the bike path. I much prefer that he do it in the dirt or bark (easier to pick up) but I can't expect to choose his poop spots for him now, can I? Anyway, I'm trying to get as clean a pick-up as I can...

Dry Food Poll
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
Several of us deal with picky eaters, so I just wanted to do a poll to see what everyone feeds and (understanding that all dogs are different) if there are certain foods that most dogs seem to like. So just post what you feed and what foods your dog does or doesn't get excited about.
