Why is he progressing outside, but really regressing inside?
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
Hey everyone, I'm stuck in a rut mentally with this one. Outside, his counter-conditioning is going very well, but as soon as we return inside... poof! He's gone. Hiding, at times slightly shaking. He's a 2-4 year old Black Labrador mix. He was wild for sometime, but for how long is...

FYI Regarding Nutro and Diamond factory
Posted to:

This is directly copied and pasted from their web site. A while back someone posted that their foods were made in this factory. I just wanted to advise of the discrepancy. I have also sent an email in regard to the Nutro Lamb and Rice formula in which someone has posted a very sad thing in regard to...

Necessity of a bed for a dog?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
This may seem silly but here goes.....I have a question regarding whether or not our dog needs a bed. My family has always had dogs, and they have always had beds. Its a comfortable spot for them to lay, when you want them out of the kitchen (or anywhere else) you can tell them to go to their bed...

The other night in the middle of the night, both my DH and I were awoken to what sounded like a really loud fart...come to find out, Harley had had really bad diarrea (sp) on our bed! What could be worst than waking up to that! It was my fault b/c I put a little gravy from our roast on both the digs...

Hello, I have a 16 month old mini doxie with wet, raw toes. The moisture is partly from licking but also some blood. The edges of the claws form a yellow crust when they dry out. He has been to the vet who can find no mites, bloodwork is all clean and we won't be able to hear about any possible...

As some of you know I am laid up with a broken leg. Tyler normally gets about 2 cups kibble AM and again at supper, about 6 or so treats a day. I tried to cut back a little since he was getting no good exercise/run time. He is putting a bit of weight (I have been inactive 2 1/2 months so far) Question...
