    Last Night......

I watched a TV programme last night over here in UK it was about the Fur Trade. You probably all know that Sir Paul McCartney and his wife Heather Mills McCartney are great believers in stopping animal cruelty and the trading of fur the show last night was fronted by them.

I just couldnt believe the cruelty suffered by domestic cats & dogs in China and Europe I had never seen it before, I was crying my eyes out at the sight of an Alsation dog being skinned alive the sounds of his screams haunted my dreams last night [:(]

I was just glad when Heathers protest outside J Crew in Manhattan resulted in them pulling fur from all there clothing lines a small victory but a step closer to stopping this evil trade!!!

God Angry its just so frustrating to know that as I write this more innocent animals are being brutally murdered for there Fur, and for what? So Celebs and stuck up toffs can walk round thinking they are all that with a dead dog round there neck!!! It makes me sick!!!

Sorry guys but it just really got to me, and I cant stop thinking about it.

I WANNA DO SOMETHING TO STOP THIS!!!!!!

So you have a problem with just furs?  What about leather jackets and shoes made from cowhide?  Do you wear or own anything made of leather?  Are you a vegetarian?  Just curious...

I do know that the orignal purpose of the Chow Chow breed was to provide meat and fur for the Chinese people...so at least one good thing has come from it, a nice breed of dog that I bet you love quite a lot ;)

The eating of dog and use of dog parts is contreversial topic personified...and I won't even go there, because I sure do eat meat and I sure do wear leather and have a car with leather seats and I sure do know what those in the Hindu faith must think of me for that...

as Forrest Gump would say..."and that's all I have ta say 'bout that..."

I am vegetarian and dont wear leather shoes or jackets etc. I dont agree with any animal being killed domestic or livestock!!!!

I have been veggie since age 13 when I watched a documentary about how livestock was killed and the suffering they go through, been there got the tee shirt.

I dont agree in eating animals, any animal esapecially cats, dogs and endangered species. I am not totally vegan as yes i do drink milk, eat eggs (free range).

But the way the Chinese treat those poor dogs and cats is just inhumane and wrong thats all I was trying to say. I have never seen a cow being skinned alive like I saw that poor Alsation, or pigs being thrown into boiling water while still alive like the cats.

There has already been alot of work done in the UK for the treatment of livestock not enought but its more that whats been done for the Fur Trade. To make sure that livestock are killed humainly and thats the main thing not the fact that they are being killed but the way its done. And im not saying that it doesnt happen inhumainly still but things are alot better.

And now its time to turn our attention to the EU and China and abolish the fur trade so thats what is being done (with little success)

As a dog lover I was just upset at what I saw thats all im not ;perfect but who is???  I put all animals in the same category when it comes to cruelty but when I see dogs that look similar to Simba in cages being thrown around like rubbish it makes my blood boil!!!!

There are many people who do cruel things.  but as far as furs and such the only way to stop that is to stop buying it.  there is a demand for these items if there wasn't then people would not be doing it anymore.  I eat meat and I wear leather.  I do think that all animals should be treated properly.
