how can I stop my dog from eating things in our back yard?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
We have a 6 month-old Golden Retriever. He loves to eat grass, twigs and especially rabbit's and deer's droppings. Since we have an electric fence, he walks around freely in our back yard. I always keep an eye on him, but it's impossible to stop him from eating watever he decides to eat....

Sorry I haven't been around much. Pregnancy has kept me pretty inactive. I'm FINALLY starting to get some energy back. But now that my energy is back work is ABSOLUTELY nuts. Ah well. Scout is doing pretty good. I think he's been feeling neglected in the exercise department. We haven't...

Myrika, our GSD pup, has very dry skin. Has been this way since we got her at 3.5 months...she is now 8 mo. We also have two Goldens...the breed is known for hot spots and issues with their skin...but anytime Willow & Oakley have shown even the slightest itchiness, I add some extra omegas into...

There was an article in one of the local papers here about homemade cooking for dogs, some pros and cons debated by owners and Veterinarians. Thought I would share the two nutrtional website links they recommended...both are links to click on. [link http://www.acvn.org/] Amercian College of Veterinary...

Timberwolf Organics question

I bought a bag of Wild n' natural yesterday and it didn't smell like the bag I bought last month- it was stinky, kind of like what I'd imagine Pedigree to smell like. I had my hubsnad return it for a fresher bag. The new bag had a different size kibble- these were larger and flat, like...

Prancer is a 8 month old 12 lb miniature poodle mix that was found as a stray - I adopted her from a rescue organization. When she was found she had scabies (and was dipped for it); she was also shaved to the skin because of mats. She doesn't stand very well for brushing, but I'm working on...

Then, she was ok for about a week or so. Then today, we found her sitting quietly and foam like substance dripping around her mouth. We...
