I have a 1 year old cocker who loves to chase squirrels, birds, and our ornry old cat. I have been taking obedience classes for several weeks, so he is learning the basic commands, but we havent learned "leave it" and its not on the agenda. I guess that leave it would work for the cat, but...

I saw a documentary today about the Duchels (sp?) and how the introduce wolves back onto Sawtooth Mountain, Idaho. They created a pack with a male and female and her new cubs. The female would run off. One of the male cubs become alpha and even the adult male accepted the younger's alpha status....

I read there is a way to do this. Is this as effective as teste removal in all the ways put forward for neutering in the first place? Does the ideal time to do this differ from the ideal time for removal of testes?
