Ticks in the Yard
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
Last year we had a tick outbreak in the backyard of the home we had just moved into. I sprayed a couple of times 10 days apart with Durzban but was still getting an occasional tick on my Miniature Schnauzers (I have 3). I had to quit spraying because I had a litter of puppies ready for outside experience...

I am pretty new to ebay, but have been buying a few maternity things here and there over the past few months. I pay with paypal immediately after I win an item. Well, last Thursday I paid for something and haven't heard a word since. No package, no tracking info, nothing (I did get the invoice which...

dog will only walk when whole family walks
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
We have adopted a 4y.o English Springer Spaniel. He will only walk with my husband if I go too. I am in a wheelchair so it is not often convenient for us both to go. He seems very timid if sudden loud noises occur. We have tried taking him when it is quieter but that doesn't work either. He seems...

Are you a morning person?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
If you are, I envy you. Life would be so much better and easier if I were a morning person. Every morning, I fight the same battle and lose every single time. I have about 6 alarms that go off (yes, 6 alarms) before I roll out of bed. If anything other than my own internal clock wakes me up, I have...

Sequoyah got attacked
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
OK, so I am not happy. My boss evaluated a dog as appropriate and sent it to my play group Sunday. No sooner does the dog get into the hall then it bolts right for Sequoyah (only dog in the room at that moment - the lady was a few minutes early). She flattened my dog and scuffed her ear with a bite just...

Hi folks, Our puppy is now 14 weeks old (they grow up so fast!) and up until now we have been letting her stay in a safe room behind our kitchen when we are out of the house during the day. Now that she's getting older I'm wondering if we can start crating her during the day instead, and how...
