O.K. so this morning I tried it again. I did what Gina suggested and put my alarm clock in the bathroom so that I can splash cold water on my face. I still had all my motivational signs and warnings to not go back to bed plastered all over the apartment. I had multiple alarms set all within a 20 minute time frame. I had everything ready to go. I programmed my cd player to a good song and was ready. So the first alarm goes off and . . . .
I jump up, run into the bathroom, turn it off and jump back into bed without so much as even opening an eye. And I repeated that until the damn thing stopped going off, at which point I reset it, again with closed eyes, to go off at the absolute latest time I had to be up. I am pathetic.
I was thinking about the time when I used to be in really good shape and when the thought of missing a workout was unheard of. Back then, I would go to the gym at 11:30 PM and stay until 1 or 2 AM, having to be up by 7:30 AM. It didn't phase me in the slightest. I was able to do it. I look back on that and am amazed that I was such a machine. [

] Now, I could do that, but I have Ash and I can't leave her that late. Actually, I should say, I don't WANT to leave her that late. That's when she's used to going to bed to lay down.
I don't know. This is awful. I am horrible. I really, really need to try and change this.
Oh and I read the other posts. I was also awful in high school. I almost didn't graduate because I had been tardy so many times. I had to have an emergency meeting with the principal and BEG him to let me graduate. All because I was always late.
