Rotating foods for Nutrition

I have read a few posts that said food should be rotated in case the dog is not getting all he needs form one or the other. Do the bags/cans say they are 100% balanced in nutrients? If so, why do you not believe it? If not, why do you use it? When we moved in here our neighbor;s Mom was on several...

Flea medicine - Advantage

Hi all, I just got my puppy to the vet today and he gave me some Advantage to stop her fleas. The directions were pretty straightforward but some of the medicine fell off my puppy onto the ground. Is it okay if a little bit falls off? Thanks!

Cholangialhepatitis?

My dog's littermate has been diagnosed with bacterial or viral hepatitis. His vet thought it might be cholangiohepatitis, but it's not. Her vet said it's "hereditary and prevalent in Dobes". But I've never heard of it before. Anyone have any experience with it -ie, symptoms, conditions that resulted...

i have a 10 week old female puggle (roxie) and a 10 year old male beagle/husky/shepherd mix (buster). even though he's 10 he has the energy of a 2 yr old. he's always been my baby but since the puppy came along he's gotten defiant. he doesn't try to bite her but of course he'll growl or snap to keep...

i think my gus is part beagle. we know that his mother was a border collie. we got him from the pound. we are thinking his other part is beagle. what do you think? he is about 15 lbs. now and he is 4 months old. any clues?
