What to do? Snake subject
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
My cousin has a python. She has asked me to breed my rabbits so she could buy a litter and feed them to her snake. I really don't like the idea. If I don't sell them to her she will just go to the pet store a buy them, so I figured why not me make the money from it? But I don't know if my...

Dog eating his hair?
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
Hi everybody; I have a nine month old Samoyed (Marty) who's blowing his coat right now. So I have lots and lots of hair in my house! When I brush him, and pull the excess fur out of the brush, he eats it. Right up. Obviously, I stopped setting the hairballs down and now put them directly in the...

One of my dogs, an Australian Cattle Dog named Miller, is sick. He started throwing up on Monday and then yesterday he didn't eat anything. He is drinking so I know he is at least staying hydrated. He is shaking and he has always been basically my little ***, he's always growling and stubborn...

Yesterday the lady I babysit for called and said they would not be coming because she was sick. So I offered to drive her 2 oldest to school and keep the little ones home with me so she could get some rest. So thats what I did. Now today, I feel like crap. There is a bug going around. I know of 5...

Hard to leave the house...
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
My 5 month old Tibetan Terrier likes to follow me around the house. He knows all basic tricks like sit, shake, lie down, etc. EXCEPT for stay. He has trouble learning it since he likes to follow me around... So it's really hard to get him off my back when I try to leave the house... Sometimes I have...

Training a dog to pull?
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I would like to teach my Great Pyrenees, Lila, to pull a cart/sled, but am completely clueless as how to do this. Is it easy enough to rig together a first training cart, and where can I find a pulling harness? Also, are there any good web pages or books that explain the training process for pulling...

My dog the... escape artist?
Posted to:

Tonite I was visiting a friend, and our dogs were in her backyard playing. We were walking around the house looking for lizards, and we round a corner and see my puppy prancing down the street. We call him over and he comes, but we notice the fence to the backyard is open, and her two dogs are nowhere...

For those of you who have flown with dogs in the cabin, has anyone from the airline ever actually checked to see if your dog can stand up and turn around in the carrier?

Seizures or Hip problem???
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
My pure bread yellow lab named Molly (9 years old) has been puzzeling me for a while. Lately I would notice her twitch or show other signs of a possible seizure (relatively short and small) though I've been told that seizures or signs like that of which she has been showing are normal for pure breads...

Recovering Golden - Best Nutrition?

My fiancee and I have been "dog-sitting" her sister's Golden (Rex) for the past few months and the other day he had surgery on his rear, right ACL. He is now slowly recovering (feel bad for the poor thing) and seems to be in good spirits. Prior to the surgery he weighed about 70 lbs, and...

Black scabs on inside of legs

Bogey had a run-in with fleas that we've taken care of and she's not itching anymore. But where the fleas bit and she was biting at them has left little black scabs/spots all over the inside of her back legs. Just wondering how long they take to go away and if there is anything I can put on her...

" Fearless "? Pretty good. I'm a martial arts movie fan...this movie had even more than that tho....a decent if simple plot and some memorable characters to boot! The Japanese fighter at the end was too handsome! I liked it a lot and amazingly even the critics did...we seldom agree [ ]
