• What to do? Snake subject magilacudy Posted : 9/26/2006 8:17:18 AM My cousin has a python. She has asked me to breed my rabbits so she could buy a litter and feed them to her snake. I really don't like the idea. If I don't sell them to her she will just go to the pet store a buy them, so I figured why not  me make the money from it?  But I don't know if my heart could handle it. I only breed the rabbits when people have requested them. And they go to people who plan on keeping them as pets not food. Although, I do have meat rabbits that we will eat,  I don't sell meat rabbits to other people.If I sold her a litter of meat rabbits their fate ends up the same right?  I had a hard time getting used to raising the rabbits for us to eat, so raising a litter for her snake to eat......YUCK, I just don't know. For me, seeing a snake eat a rabbit would be a lot worse that seeing a snake scarf up a mouse or a rat [] and even that wouldn't be a pleasant thing to watch.
