Chinchilla update

Just wanting to let you all know that Chilli and Tigger are now together in the same cage as of Sunday night. I didn't want to say anything until now since I wanted to make sure they are getting along ok. Tigger wasn't for sure if he wanted to share his cage with Chilli. What can I say Tigger...

Deter-For-bid, work on YOUR poop eating dog?!
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
Our 4.5 month old chocolate lab  up is OBSESSED with eating her poop!! We try as best we can to follow her out to her area and scoop it up. Just now I followed her out, waited and I swear she faked me out! Did her thing, then walked away, I went for the shovel, as soon as I cleared her space...

Re-housetraining
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
Hi everyone. I just found this site and am new to the world of dog forums. I have a three-year old mix (Beagle/JRT/Pointer) that until recently was fully house trained. Then, a few months ago, I began working from home and I think my dog has gotten a little spoiled. She now has an accident almost every...

Licking
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
Ok, my dog always seems to be licking something. It isn't always her skin, though she does sometimes. She will lay on my bed and just lick a part of the sheet until it is soaked, or she will lick my family. She especially likes to lick my dad. She will also randomly lick the air. She never chews...

Puppy nipping....
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
I posted a couple of weeks ago about our puppy biting ankles and feet - OUCH! I felt I was handling it well by commanding him to "sit" during this inappropriate play. It only worked for a while. He's gotten more frisky (I don't want to say "aggressive", but that is what...

What should I feed my dog?
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
Hi! I'm new here and know next to nothing about different dog foods. I've been feeding Elle (my 2 year old, 8 lb. Chihuahua) Bil Jacs Select dog food almost the whole time I've had her. While she loves to eat (she can hear the word "treat" from miles away), she has tired of this...

Am i a bad owner?
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
I can't potty train my dog for nothing! It's so frustrating!! My 7 month old toy poodle is one of the best things in my life. But she won't stop "going" in the house. She holds it for 5-6 hours at night and she only goes like 2 times during the day when my husband and i are at work...

How do you deal...

with people at work giving themselves more authority than they have? Im at my wits end. There is this guy (older man) at work who is the computer programmer. Well since coming to this company he has this air of thinking he is boss of everyone. A few days after he started working, I was at my computer...

Another Problem

Ive only posted a few times before, but I have yet another problem: I have a problem with keeping my commitments to my pets. I love new puppies, but as they get older I get it into my head to give them up and get a new puppy, one much smaller (or bigger) and different. I also know that breeding...

Getting frustrated!
Posted to:

Alright...I've had my dog for 2 1/2 weeks now...she's a Pointer (possibly) mix or something, and she's about 4 years old. I had a few problems with her having accidents over the first few days, but she had diarreah, so I don't think it was her fault in anyway...plus, you can't expect...

I need help with baby kittens!
Posted to:

One of my cats ( they're all outdoor cats) had three kittens not too long ago, maybe like a week by now. This is her second time having kittens, so she's done it before. Everything was just fine for the first few days, and then I think the day before yesterday, we had to unload a wagon of hay...
